The Tri Auto ZX2+ is an upgraded version of the Tri Auto ZX2, mainly distinguished by the addition of the new Optimum Glide Path 2 (OGP2) mode. While both devices are cordless endodontic motors with an integrated apex locator and include Optimum Torque Reverse (OTR) technology for safe rotary preparation, the ZX2+ introduces a more advanced reciprocating motion that allows patency, glide path creation, and canal shaping to be performed in a single, continuous mode. This enhanced motion control reduces torsional stress and further lowers the risk of file breakage compared to the original ZX2.
