The Root ZX3 is the latest generation of the company’s well-known electronic apex locator, designed to provide precise working-length measurement during root canal treatment. It features an updated, compact body with a larger, high-contrast display that shows real-time readings with 40 indicator bars and uses automatic calibration for consistent accuracy in both wet and dry canals. The reliable impedance-based technology behind it has been independently evaluated at around 97.5 % accuracy. An optional High-Frequency (HF) Module can be added to expand its use beyond apex location, offering a novel adjunct approach to canal treatment through high-frequency conduction therapy.
